“And the Wall came Tumbling Down”

Could you imagine God telling you to walk around a city, a whole city and not say a word for seven days. Not a single word only the blowing of the rams horn(Shofar) is to be heard and the sound of your feet walking in the streets or the sand. And after seven days you now get the word to shout for the Lord has given you the city, and to your surpirse the walls of this great fortified city goes straight down into the ground before you and you litterally walk in and take possession of what is there for God. Does this sound unbelievable well believe it because its a true story.  When God had the children of Israel cross through the Jordon river (remember on dry ground) into the Land of promise to possess the land. God reestablishes His covenant with this new generation and then appears to Joshua as the Captain of the Lords Host, and tell Joshua who is a military man himself, “Joshua see , I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king and the mighty men of war”. But now The Lord gives Joshua instructions on how to accomplish this task. Perhaps God has called you as He has called Joshua, and said that he has hand picked you to lead a people or to do a special assignment. Perhaps He just called you to pray and have you follow the instructions the He has given to you. Many times we get into trouble because we know what to do and have been called by God but we don’t always follow the instructions given to us either in the manual (Bible) or the specific instructions given by the Lord Himself. Now is the time to begin to obey the voice of the Lord and do what He has commanded you to do. Lets begin to follow the instructions of the Lord and when we do we will get the Victory just like Joshua and the children of Israel.

Remember Shout for He has given you the City.
